About Our Choir

Formed in 2015, Adelaide Vocal Union is a four part harmony male ensemble which rehearses at 7pm on Thursdays at Marryatville High School.

We are an enthusiastic and social group of singers who enjoy learning and aspire to perform quality barbershop and other acapella arrangements. Curious men who can sing in tune are most welcome to visit, and who knows? - you too may discover the unique thrill of singing with others in harmony.

Why You Should Join

Singing together with other guys is a lot of fun and a terrific feeling. Why not come to a rehearsal and try us out. Either just watch and listen or grab some music and join in when you feel confident. We provide online learning tracks and sheet music. Our Musical Director will voice place you (Tenor, Lead, Baritone or Bass). If you decide to stick around there is an audition - just to make sure you can sing in tune and hold a part. As a general rule this is held about 4 weeks after you start attending - but it's a flexible process.
