About Our Choir
Stella Choir is a young choir from Tangier, Morocco, established in 2019. Its members are young volunteers passionate about art in general and choral singing in particular.
This mixed choir with 8 voices (SSAATTBB) is directed/conducted by the talented Jad Harjane.
We aim to craft a vibrant and inclusive musical journey steeped in multiculturarism.
Stella's repertoire embraces a diverse array of languages such as Arabic, Norwegian, Spanish, English, Zulu, French, Isixhosa, Filipino, Chinese, Hungarian, and beyond.

Our History
Since 2019, we had numerous experiences performing in front of audiences
- An exchange (3 songs) with Al Boughaz choir in June 2021
- A performance at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Tangier in November 2021
- 1st solidarity concert at the Cathedral of Iberia in Tangier in March 2022
- VOIX EN HARMONIE, a concert in partnership with Al Boughaz choir and Melloussa choir in Ramon y Cajal in June 2022
- 2 winter concerts in partnership with the Archbishop of Tangier in December 2022 and January 2023
- 2nd solidarity concert in partnership with Wasata sans frontières in March 2023
- TANGER A L'UNISSON, a concert in collaboration with 715 choir and Awlad wa Banat Zeryab in cultural center Ahmed Boukmakh in June 2023
- TRANSITIONS, a concert in the Mohamed VI Polytechnic University of Benguerir in the Science week in October 2023
- Winter Concert, sponsored by the American Language Center of Tangier, at the Cathedral of Iberia in December 2023
