The South Oxfordshire Choir is a non-auditioned choir singing a variety of choral and popular music. We put on 2 or 3 concerts a year in the Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
Our History
We’ve been around for a while (originally as Cranford Choral Society), performing all kinds of gorgeous music from major choral works to musicals. We’re a friendly bunch, with different levels of ability, and there’s no audition before you join.

Additional Info for Choristers
Rehearsals are held on Mondays at St Mary's Church in Wallingford, at 8pm. Music will be provided when you arrive. We give new members the chance to try us out for three rehearsals before committing to join. After that we will ask you to pay a modest subscription to cover the costs of our Music Director and accompanist, concert musicians and soloists, and venue hire. In 2023-4 our subs are £180 for the year, or two instalments of £90, or monthly standing order payments of £15. We perform concerts two or three times a year.
