Anchorus Polyphonic Choir Verified listing

Having started their works in February 2017, Anchorus Polyphonic Choir was founded by experienced chorists who had performed in different choirs in the previous years. The Choir set off by the vision of being a choir performing polyphonic music at world standards in Turkey and exhibiting this potential on relevant platforms abroad.   The choir gave their first concert in Batumi City, Georgia on August 12, 2017. This concert was performed in the Concert Hall of Zakaria Paliashvili Music School, under the auspices of the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Batumi. Modern polyphonic songs selected from various cultures were sung and they won recognition from the audience during the concert. Anchorus then gave concerts in cities of Turkey; such as Ankara, Kastamonu and Adana respectively and they occasionally experienced sharing the stage with other choirs.
