Our History
Songthreads was created for the Dynamix Festival in 2001. Since then, it has been running as classes, choirs and performance for children and adults around Oxfordshire.
It aims not only to create, develop and encourage learning, teaching and performance of vocal music but to increase in individuals that rarest of commodities: self-belief.
At a higher level it aims to spread peace, understanding and harmony between all cultures and peoples.
The voice is the easiest and most grateful of instruments and the most fun. Singing in harmony can be a most moving, enlightening, enlivening experience. Create new friends and learn the beauty of real team work.
Additional Info for Choristers
During my sessions you not only come to sing along: you learn all the basics and more. As long as you are wonderfully curious and believe that you can learn, these sessions are for you. Several levels from total beginners to intermediate/advanced.
