About Our Choir

The Garden State Philharmonic Chorus, under the direction of Steven Russell, is a passionate 45-voice auditioned chorus of Jersey Shore area residents. The GSP Chorus has been performing classical choral music at the Jersey Shore since its founding in 1984. The GSP Chorus rehearses on Wednesday evenings from September through June on the campus of Ocean County College in Toms River, New Jersey.

The Garden State Philharmonic Symphony Society, Inc. (GSP) is dedicated to a mission of maintaining and operating a professional symphony orchestra at the Jersey Shore; to giving concerts of cultural and educational value in and for the community; and to fostering such related activities that will encourage interest in and appreciation of music.
