CAUM - Coro Académico da Universidade do Minho

Coro Académico da Universidade do Minho, also known as CAUM, is one of the oldest academic groups at University of Minho. It is an a capella mixed gender choir, which tackles music from several different genres, and open to everyone in the academic community.

From its inception in 1989, CAUM was under artistic direction by Fernando C. Lapa until 2004, being followed by Magda Ferreira (2005) and Rui Paulo Teixeira (2004-2005; 2006-2017). Since January 2018, is under artistic direction by Sílvio Cortez.
