The choir welcomes invitations to perform at community and cultural events.
Our History
The Calgary Italian Choir held its first performance on 22 May 1997, with only 12 members. It was registered as the Calgary Crescendo Choral Society in the year 2000.
In August 2007 the choir toured Italy, singing at different venues, entertaining young and old alike. In 2011 the choir visited San Diego and performed at the House of Italy and at Old Town.
The choir is comprised of adult men and women of all nationalities. The Calgary Crescendo Choir is registered under the Societies Act and is self-supporting. It requires neither auditions nor comprehension of the Italian language.
