Seattle Women's Chorus is one of the world's largest LGBTQ and ally-identified singing ensembles, performing a variety of pop, rock, Broadway, and traditional choral music.
Our History
Since the first concert in 2002, Seattle Women's Chorus has quickly grown to become one of the region's most prominent singing groups. With 250 members, SWC is one of the world's largest LGBTQ women's choruses.
More than simply a music organization, SWC and its small ensemble, Sensible Shoes, are voices for LGBT advocacy in the community and across the country.
The Chorus has had the pleasure of performing with respected artists including country music sensation, Chely Wright, actress Kathy Najimy, comedy duo Dos Fallopia, and musicians such as Vicci Martinez and Bernice Johnson Reagon.
