Tucson Desert Harmony Chorus promotes quality barbershop music while singing with passion, enthusiasm and energy. We understand that excellence in singing is accomplished through education, practice, performing, and competing--while having fun! We are committed to sharing our love of music with each other and our community.
We are a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a 501(c)3 organization, and are committed to bringing the joy of four-part harmony, a cappella music to women of all ages. Tucson Desert Harmony Chorus belongs to the Golden West region of Sweet Adelines International.

If you love to sing and perform, you must visit Tucson Desert Harmony Chorus! We encourage and accept women of all ages; however anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent unless an adult member of the chorus has agreed to be that girl's guardian on chorus time.
Prospective members should be able to carry a tune. The ability to read music is not a requirement. Our music team helps to prepare the prospective member for her audition in which she must be able to sing her part alone in a quartet situation along with the three other parts. The person is given the music, as well as coaching, in order to help pass the audition. We want you to succeed!
New members benefit from professional coaching sessions conducted by nationally known and accredited performance and vocal coaches, as well as ongoing educational opportunities brought to us throughout the year by our highly trained directors.
