We are Mississauga Summer Chorale's 80+ voice concert choir, directed by Kai Leung.
Frisson is a non-auditioned, Mississauga-based choir of 40 voices conducted by Kai Leung, Emily Parker, and Tyrese Walters. They perform a variety of contemporary repertoire spanning genres and cultures and are committed to building the choral community among the youth of Mississauga. Over seven beautiful years of singing, Frisson has performed music from Indonesia, Korea, South Africa, Sweden, Latvia, and from all over Canada and the United States, and has premiered three new choral works and many new arrangements of pop songs by young composers from within the MSC community.
Reuniting old friends and creating new ones, the Mississauga Summer Chorale focuses on delivering engaging, thought-provoking and musically sincere presentations of mostly contemporary works. We bring youth choristers together in Mississauga for a summer of challenging and creative singing.
Founded in 2015, the Mississauga Summer Chorale unites young individuals with a passion for choral excellence every year during the months of May through August.
We are a diverse and fun group of people who are accepting of all levels of musical ability.

Our Mission
The Mississauga Summer Chorale has a commitment to community, both within rehearsal and within Mississauga. In our first years, we have supported the Compass and the Alzheimer Society Peel, and we continue to seek opportunities to connect with people through our music making.
