Melody Dobson is a professional musician with considerable international experience. She holds a master's degree in voice performance and is one of the most successful vocal pedagogues in New Brunswick.
Since 2004, Melody has directed the Greater Moncton Chorale. Under her leadership, the GMC has grown to be the largest choral organization in the province of New Brunswick, with over 100 voices and a proud 35+ year history. In 2012, her work with the choir was recognized in a Distinguished Service Award granted by the New Brunswick Choral Federation.
Melody is also a Paul Harris Fellow - an honour bestowed by the Rotary Club of Moncton West and Riverview in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the local musical community.

Melody Dobson is a professional singer with considerable international experience, having enjoyed a career as a classical concert artist based in Hamburg, Germany for over ten years.
Melody holds a master’s degree in voice performance and has become one of the most successful vocal pedagogues on Canada's east coast. She adjudicates at music festivals all over the Maritimes and has also served as a voice examiner at Mount Allison University, l'Université de Moncton, and the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts in Halifax.
Since 2004, Melody has directed the Greater Moncton Chorale, now the largest choral organization in New Brunswick, with performance groups for children, teens, and adults. Her work with the Chorale has earned her a Distinguished Service Award from the New Brunswick Choral Federation.
Melody is also a Paul Harris Fellow – an honour bestowed by the Rotary Club of Moncton West & Riverview, in recognition of her leadership role as a music educator in the Greater Moncton region.
