About Sian Wittke

Young Women’s Chorus Assistant Conductor Sian Wittke has been teaching chorus and music for over eight years. A native San Franciscan, she grew up singing with YWCP founder Susan McMane and moved to Boston to study voice at Berklee College of Music. After graduating with a major in Music Education and an emphasis on Choral Conducting, Sian directed music programs in different schools and organizations in Boston before moving back to the Bay Area in 2017. This year, Sian became the Lower School Music Teacher and Choral Director at The Hamlin School, just three blocks away from Calvary! Sian has had many different roles at YWCP including Choral Fellow, Tour and Retreat Chaperone, and Interim Allegro Director – this year she is so thrilled to be working with Dr. Benvenuto and the fabulous singers in the Young Women’s Chorus.
