Bowdoin Chorus numbers approximately 60 singers, half of whom are students. The other choristers are faculty, staff and community members. Rehearsals are Sunday evenings from 7 to 9:30 p.m. for all singers and Thursdays from 7 to 8 p.m. for sopranos and altos and 8 to 9 p.m. for tenors and basses. The group rehearses in Tillotson (Gibson 101) on the Bowdoin campus. Concerts are performed in Kanbar Auditorium in Studzinski Recital Hall. Students take Chorus for credit (Music 2745/2746) and can satisfy the Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) requirement by participating for two or more semesters.
