À La Mode Vocal Ensemble

Founded by Director Emily Taub, ALM is an energetic and eclectic chamber choir with a passion for exploring music of every style and genre! We are currently in our 9th season and hold weekly rehearsals in Hamilton, Ontario. Our choir hosts people from every walk of life, from teachers to lawyers to actors, all of us with a strong love of music making. Choristers' age range from 14 and up!

Biannually, ALM hosts concerts in the Hamilton area and abroad. Most recently, a pirate themed shanty performance, a tribute to all things Gospel Music, a choral "songscape" of Scandinavian delights, and even a costume-fuelled trip to Middle Earth! Funds raised through performances are donated to local charitable organizations such as Interval House Hamilton, Reach forth Sports, City Kidz, S.O.C.K.S. Canada and Schools of Dreams, St. Matthew's House as well as our Chorister Bursary Fund.
