The Choral-Aires Chorus is an international top 10 women's choral group that gathers together in celebration of the art of barbershop music. The Choral-Aires Chorus consists of nearly 100 women of all ages who sing four-part harmony barbershop style in the chorus; all music is sung a cappella. The main purpose of the group is to sing for the community. It performs at annual shows, community events and annual competitions, but the group is also available for hire for events. The Choral-Aires Chorus program is partially funded by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
