Chorus Hamilton performs a large variety of music - from chamber music to the greatest large scale works in the choral repertoire, with and without orchestra. Concerts have been performed with Symphony Hamilton, the University of Guelph Symphony, the Brantford Symphony Orchestra (premiering Alan Hoddinott's Bells of Paradise).
Our History
Formerly the Mohawk College Community Choir, Chorus Hamilton is one of the finest choral ensembles in the Hamilton area. It was founded by Patricia Rolston in 1968 to participate in the opening of the College's Fennel Campus. Since then, it has grown into a 75 member semi-professional college/community choral society with singers from all walks of life who have their vocal talent and love of choral music in common.
