We are CitySound Voices, a small dynamic choir of accomplished singers, formed in 2012. We aim to entertain our audiences with an exciting and varied repertoire, performing works by composers such as Haydn, Elgar, Jamie Cullum and Queen. Although the choir sings mainly in and around Bath, it has also performed at Aldeburgh, Wells Cathedral and at the Minack Theatre in Cornwall. Our Australian born musical director Ruth McKibbin is an experienced operatic singer and teacher and our accompanist Peter French brings with him 20 years experience of musical theatre. We like to sing with other choirs and musicians and are particularly keen to support the work of young musicians. We enjoy singing music by living composers such as Philip Stopford, Mark Boden and Marsha Kastner. Fundraising for charities is an important part of our work. If you are interested in joining CSV please contact: [email protected] for more information or come along to one of our rehearsals, held on Wednesday evenings at 7.45.pm, at the St. Stephen?s Centre, in the basement, through the side door of St. Stephen?s Church, the prominent church on the fork with Richmond Road and Lansdown Road, Bath, BA1 5SX.
