About Our Choir
We are a mixed voice choir singing a variety of musical styles including classical, pop, musicals, sacred and Scottish songs. Members' ages range from teenagers to octogenarians. To date we have recorded over 30 albums and raised over 1.5 million for charity.
Our History
Glasgow Phoenix Choir was established in 1951.
Founded in 1951, when members of the disbanded Glasgow Orpheus Choir decided to continue the 50 year old tradition begun in 1901, it continues to perform throughout the British Isles and, occasionally, Europe.
