Creativity Australia’s first Queensland choir, With One Voice Brisbane, is an absolute hit! You’re invited to share the joy at City Hall.
Our History
Since our launch in April 2014, With One Voice Brisbane has been welcoming people from every walk of life and all levels of singing experience. Under the expert guidance of conductor Cath Mundy, members of With One Voice Brisbane have experienced amazing opportunities performing with talented artists such as John Farnham, Glenn Shorrock, The Voice’s Lara Nakhle and recently at QPAC’s Concert Hall with Dan Sultan and The Voice’s Ellen Reed.
We meet every Wednesday evening to sing an eclectic repertoire from folk, gospel and world to pop-rock with an emphasis on fun. Sometimes we sing original songs written and arranged by our accompanist/conductor team Jay Turner and Cath Mundy. We have an awesome team of volunteers who help keep our choir running smoothly.
No matter what age you are or what language you speak, singing offers opportunities to learn, grow, and express who you are.
With One Voice Brisbane community choir welcomes people from all walks of life and all levels of singing experience.
Every week, the network of 13 With One Voice choirs inspire people from more than 40 nationalities, aged 9 to 90, to sing side-by-side. Age, race, language, religion, disability and disadvantage fade away.
Executives, migrants, seniors, students, people with disabilities or mental illness… everyone is welcome. Choir is a place to de-stress, find friends and mentors, improve well-being and connect to networks, skills and employment. Through the Wish List, participants grant one another wishes like job interview practice, CV-writing and free music lessons. It’s all about joy, freedom and inspiration.
