Rustenburg Alumnae Chamber Choir

Following up on being part of Choral Excellence for their 12 year school career at Rustenburg Girls', a group of old girls, initiate an adult female choir. Now all in professional careers as lawyers, doctors, journalists etc, these ladies meet one evening a week for a two hour rehearsal. Within two years of starting, the choir are acknowledged for the valuable contribution to the choir world and development of good choral singing in Cape Town, South Africa. The Chamber Choir perform a large variety of music and entertain audiences with a very balanced programme consisting of works from Bach, Bizet, Jenkins, Whitacre and traditional african music.
