Now celebrating its 50th season, Peel Choral Society was the first non-auditioned Adult Community Choir in Brampton. The choir is comprised of some 55 multi-talented and dedicated volunteer singers from the community, a professional accompanist and an experienced professional conductor.
Members are drawn from all walks of life and reflect the diverse social fabric of this dynamic region. Brampton brings various professional ensembles and soloists from outside Brampton, only Peel Choral Society represents this community’s own high level of choir-making. Peel Choral performs works ranging from the popular song to Broadway and jazz repertoires.

Additional Info for Choristers
The Peel Choral Society is a non-auditionned choir. Reading music is a welcomed asset! Peel choristers rehearse every Monday evening at Emmanuel United Church, (420 Balmoral Drive, Brampton, Ontario) from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Our performing year is September thru May. The choir takes a break for the months of December, June, July and August.
The choir performs two concerts per year in addition to local community and fund-raising events. Choristers may be requested to attend a few extra rehearsals prior to a concert.
