Sussex Chorus is a large mid-Sussex choir with a long-standing reputation for high quality performances, usually four times a year at venues in or near to Burgess Hill. With a new Director of Music and conductor starting with us in January 2019, we are looking forward to developing a wide-ranging repertoire and enjoying our commitment to keep classical music very much alive in Mid Sussex! Our first performance with conductor Jack Thompson is Haydn's Creation on 23 March and (writing this in January) rehearsals are already showing promise that his will be a terrific concert. We will be exploring a very different style of music on 15 June when we will be performing Will Todd's Mass in Blue, an upbeat, jazz setting of the Latin Mass. This will be in the glorious surroundings of Hurst College Chapel - always charming on a Summer's evening. New singing members are always welcome and will be joining a very friendly choir where they are supported to improve their singing technique, prepare to concert standard and then enjoy the thrill of performing. Talented soloists and orchestras help to make concert days really special. There is more information and details of how to get in touch on our
