This season our Christmas concerts will include traditional Christmas favourites and feature Bob Chilcott’s spectacular and upbeat Gloria. We will be led by Artistic Director and Conductor Shawn Grenke, and will be performing with our collaborative pianist, and a professional string ensemble and soloists. The concerts will include an audience sing-along.
November 30: 3:00 pm, Christ Church Anglican, 22 Nancy Street, Bolton, Ontario.
December 1: 3:00 pm, Westminster United Church, 247 Broadway, Orangeville, Ontario.
Adults $25, Youth (13-17) $10 and Children $5
Why You Should Attend
Achill Choral Society is a 70 member mixed voice choir, which has been performing in our communities for over 37 years. Our repertoire ranges from challenging classical works to contemporary and traditional pieces. We perform two concert series a year with performances rotating between Orangeville, Bolton and Alliston.
Our "Glorious Sounds" concert will be an outstanding event, with our accomplished choir, Artistic Director and musicians.
