Elmhurst Choral Union & Orchestra: The Music of Christmas

Elmhurst Choral Union and Orchestra present "The Music of Christmas" on Sunday, December 15 at 3:00 p.m. in Hammerschmidt Chapel on the campus of Elmhurst College. Conductor Scott Uddenberg leads the chorus, professional orchestra and soloists in Vivaldi’s Gloria, along with a joyful mix of Christmas music by Leroy Anderson, and Alfred Burt carols. A pre-concert lecture by composer David DeVasto begins at 2:00. Tickets are $25 for adults, $23 for seniors and $10 for youth (7-22). Elmhurst Choral Union is an outstanding auditioned chorus performing classical masterworks and great choral music of all eras.
