Elmhurst Choral Union presents “Majestic Mozart” on Sunday, April 26 at 3:00 p.m. in Hammerschmidt Chapel on the campus of Elmhurst College.
Guest ensemble Salt Creek Chamber Orchestra join the chorus, and pro soloists under conductor Scott Uddenberg in Mozart’s glorious Coronation Mass, which had been performed at the coronation of Francis II as Holy Roman Emperor.
Salt Creek Chamber Orchestra will also perform a Mozart symphony under its director, Tim Semanik.
A pre-concert lecture by composer David DeVasto begins at 2:00.

Elmhurst Choral Union is an outstanding auditioned chorus performing classical masterworks and great choral music of all eras. The concert is funded in part by grants from Explore Elmhurst Grant Program and from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
