Invoke the exquisite transition from fall to winter with a concert of music and poetry depicting the beautiful foliage, the mellow and acute melancholy, and the beautiful moments of frost and festivity. Poetry readings are performed by a cast of NYC actors, including Abigail Ramsay and others, and are accompanied by works for treble voices. Selections for the evening include poems by Maggie Deitz, William Shakespeare, and Robert Frost, as well as compositions by Mel Bonis, Katerina Gimon, Sarah Quartel, Michal McGlynn, John Rutter, and Barry Manilow.
Conducted by Cynthia Powell, Artistic Director, with Allison Sniffin, piano, Emilie-Anne Gendron, violin, and Francesca Ferrara, flute.
