Tom Cunningham, Cantata for Peace (world premiere)
Alex Berko, You through me (European premiere)
Just like his Four Seasons for orchestra, Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria RV 589 is the perfect music to welcome spring – a breath of fresh air after the winter. The Brussels Choral Society (BCS), together with the Ensemble Orchestral de Bruxelles invites you to their spring concert in the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, performing Vivaldi’s Gloria and Haydn’s Te Deum. The programme also includes the world premiere of the Cantata for Peace written by Tom Cunningham, the BCS’s former musical director, and the European premiere of You through me, a piece about a garden, by the young American composer Alex Berko.
