Kairos: [Greek; καιρόs Kah-ee-ros] Means in Greek: “Time measured by quality; the moment when all things work together in harmony.”
An emphasis on choral music excellence has carried Kairos Youth Choir since its founding in 1990. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, Kairos continues to be a vital part of the Bay Area community. Kairos Choir has appeared in many civic and cultural events, including the Berkeley Repertory Theatre, the Berkeley Opera, and the Hard Nut with the Mark Morris Dance Group, more recently in musical collaboration with California Bach Society in their award-winning performance of St. Matthew Passion, as well as being selected for regular performances at the Junior Bach Festival.
