Students in The Performing Arts School Show Choir will build confidence through performing in an advanced ensemble. Students will be auditioned for this ensemble. They will learn proper posture, breathing and proper diction. Students will perfect their rhythm, sight-singing and ear training skills. This ensemble will learn a vast majority of repertoire, while also preparing for major performance opportunities on the main stage of bergenPAC. Sign up to receive college credits!
The Performing Arts School Show Choir regularly receives opportunities to perform alongside major artists on the main stage of bergenPAC. Past performances include Kristen Chenoweth, Patti LuPone, Neil Berg, The Irish Tenors and more! Performances throughout the community are also a regular and ongoing part of the mission.

The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC accepts registrations for the choir on a rolling basis. A limited number of scholarships are available. The choir is for students ages 13-18.
Our Mission
The mission of the choir-in-residence at the PAS is to represent bergenPAC by performing in the community and alongside mainstage artists at bergenPAC. Repertoire taught should be diverse and include choral, classical, jazz, gospel and musical theater. Diction and acting through music will also be taught so that performances are exciting and moving. Life skills will be taught and developed, including confidence, creative self-expression, collaboration and a sense of community will be built and maintained to allow a safe and positive space for learning and growing.
