COME JOIN AND SING with the City Chamber Choir for a festive afternoon of Christmas music old and new in the majestic surroundings of St Mary and St John the Divine Church. There will be favourite carols to join in singing. Family friendly, mince pies and mulled wine afterwards. There will be a retiring collection in aid of YoungMinds, the UK’s leading charity fighting for children and young people’s mental health

CITY CHAMBER CHOIR takes you on a magical journey through the Christmas story, with a mixture of much-loved familiar carols and music that’s right up to date, including Ivy, Chief of Trees it is by award-winning contemporary composer, Sarah Cattley. The programme includes music by Alleotti, Bruckner, Reger, Tallis, Pott, Schütz, Berlioz, Gardner, Cattley, Chilcott and Rutter
There’s an opportunity to hear some seasonal readings as well as the usual wine and mince-pies.
